This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.

Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 9 June 2025 at 10:15 AM, a report stated that three men were shot dead in Dahat Kan Village, Nyaung-U Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the scene for further investigation, the victims were identified as U Tin Soe (56 years old), U Win Naing (49 years old) and U Chan Thar (33 years old), all residents of the village. While they were at the house of U Tin Soe, eight so-called PDF terrorists arriving by five motorcycles and opened fire on them. As a result, all three men died on the spot. Additionally, the terrorists took a lead-coloured TOYOTA PASSO (License Plate No. YGN-22/3I-XXXX) and a white-coloured TOYOTA HIJET (License Plate No. MDY-6/4K-XXXX) from the house of U Win Naing, it is reported.
 

Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the aforementioned case, it is reported.

They also hoisted a PDF flag on a bamboo pole within the school compound before leaving the scene, it is reported.
Similarly, at 2:00 AM, approximately 30 so-called PDF terrorists arrived at the Basic Education Primary School in Padauk Kone Village of Htantabin Township. They entered the school compound, removed the national flag and take it with them before leaving the scene, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.

He was stepped on an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, which then detonated. As a result, U Tin Myint Swe died on the spot, it is reported.

As a result, U Nay Lin Oo died on the spot, while his wife sustained gunshot injuries. Additionally, the terrorists robbed their motorcycle, it is reported.
