Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 26 February 2025 at 11:40 AM, when a so-called PDF terrorist faction conducted an attack by dropping bombs on Zee Kone Village in Kyauktaga Township of Bago Region. The bombs exploded within the village. As a result of the explosions, Daw Ma Ma Gyi (72 years old), Mg La Pyae Tun (16 years old), U Pike Htway (35 years old) and Mg Chit Oo Ko Ko (three years old), sustained shrapnel injuries and were transported to Kyauktaga Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
 Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured or killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.

Their targets are innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.

Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 26 February 2025 at 12:10 PM, a report stated that two men were shot dead near Myay Phyu Lake (locally known as such), south of Tha Yet Kan Village in Ngazun Township of Mandalay Region. During a further investigation by security personnel, it was discovered that U Maung Soe (aka) U Hla Ngwe (53 years old) and U Khin Swe (aka) Maung Too (43 years old), both residents of Kan Bo Village in Ngazun Township, were at their respective houses when approximately 15 so-called PDF terrorists arriving by a Light Truck vehicle. Then, the terrorists abducted both men and took them to the Myay Phyu Lake, south of Tha Yet Kan Village, where they were shot. As a result, both men died on the spot, it is reported. 
Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killings and assassinations of innocent civilians in the aforementioned case, it is reported.

Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 24 February 2025 at 9:20 AM, the Hmaw Inn Village Tract Administrator U Than Oo (58 years old), a resident of Ka Nyin Tan Village, Latpadan Township of Bago Region, was travelling on his motorcycle from his village to Latpadan Town. When he arrived at the Latpadan-Hmaw Inn intersection, two so-called PDF terrorists, riding a motorcycle from opposite direction, opened fire on him. As a result, U Than Oo died on the spot. Additionally, the terrorists took his Honda Click 125 motorcycle, it is reported.

Similarly, at 4:05 PM, a report stated that a man and woman were shot dead in Kan Gyi Village, Gyobingauk Township of Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that Village Administrator U Kan Myint (67 years old) and his wife, Daw Khin Win Thu (42 years old), both residents of the village, were at their house when two so-called PDF terrorists arriving by motorcycle and opened fire on them. As a result, they died on the spot, it is reported. 
Similarly, on 25 February at 6:30 AM, a report stated that two men were shot dead in Nyaung Lay Pin Village, Nattalin Township of Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Nay Win (56 years old) and U Tin Shein (aka) U Mal Nyo (56 years old), both residents of the village, were having a conversation of U Nay Win’s yard when 10 so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on them. As a result, both men died on the spot, it is reported. 
Similarly, on the same day at 6:30 AM, a report stated that a man was shot dead and a woman was gunshot injuries near Si Thar Gyi Village, Taungwingyi Township of Magway Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Zaw Myint Oo (aka) Nan Nan (38 years old), a ward/ village clerk and his mother, Daw Ma Kyine (63 years old), were travelling on a bullock cart to a farm near their village. When they reached an area approximately four furlongs east of their village, two so-called PDF terrorists who had been wainting for them, opened fire and then fled. As a result, U Myint Zaw Oo (aka) Nan Nan died on the spot, while Daw Ma Kyine sustained gunshot injuries. The deceased and the injured were transported to Taungwingyi Township Public Hospital for examinitaion and medical treatment, it is reported.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that Daw Yin Yin Chaw (44 years old), a resident of the ward, was at the Khit Thit wholesale (Beans) when so-called PDF terrorists arriving by a car and opened fire on her. As a result, Daw Yin Yin Chaw died on the spot, it is reported.

Similarly, on 26 February at 6:55 AM, a report stated that a man was shot dead and a woman was gunshot injuries in Nyaung Kone Gyi Village in Paung Township of Mon State. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that Village Administrator U Myint Soe (67 years old) and his wife, Daw Mi Nge (47 years old), both residents of the village, were at their house when three individuals from KNU members who support terrorism, along with so-called PDF terrorists arriving by two motorcycles and opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, U Myint Soe died on the spot, while Daw Mi Nge sustained gunshot injuries. The deceased and the injured were transported to Yin Nyein Station Hospital for examination and medical treatment, it is reported.

As a result of the explosions, U San Lone (70 years old) and U Kyaw Thein (32 years old), both residents of the village, died on the spot, while Daw Moe Sandar Sein (28 years old), Daw Lwin Lwin Maw (48 years old), Ma Eait Hmu San (23 years old), Mg Paing Shan (six years old), Mg Bone Lyan Kyaw (10 years old) and Mg Thu Rein Soe (12 years old), also all residents of the village, sustained shrapnel injuries. The injured individuals were transported to Padan Station Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.

Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 25 February 2025 at 1:20 PM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Dawei District Public Hospital in Dawei Township of Tanintharyi Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was Daw Zin Mar Win (40 years old), a resident of Wa Kone Village in Dawei Township. The incident occurred that she had stepped on an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction while picking betel nuts in an orchard in the village, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims were Daw Moe Hnin Htway (45 years old), a junior assistant teacher from the Basic Education Primary School (Ma lal) and her elder sister, Daw Win Win Khine (55 years old), both residents of Ma Lal Village in Natogyi Township. The incident occurred that when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the victims’ village. One of the heavy weapon shells exploded within the village, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.

As a result, U Khin Maung Htay sustained shrapnel injuries and was transported to Taungoo District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

As a result, the victim died on the spot, it is reported.
Similarly, at 8:30 AM, a report stated that a man was shot dead in Wunzin Ward, Meiktila Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Zaw Min Oo (50 years old), a 100-household elder and resident of the ward, was at the “U Shan Gyi” tea shop when two so-called PDF terrorists arriving by motorcycle and opened fire on him. As a result, U Zaw Min Oo sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to Meiktila District Public Hospital for medical treatment. However, he succumbed his injuries being transported to the hospital, it is reported.

NAY PYI TAW February 24

The government has cracked down on criminal activities in border areas including online gambling and scams effectively and, today, detained 150 more illegal migrants who entered Shwe Kokko and KK Park - Myawady through illegal routes.

Combined teams of relevant departments are collecting their personal information and documents within a day in order to repatriate them to relevant countries as soon as possible.

Between 30 January and 24 February, 2025, a total of 2,370 illegal foreign migrants were uncovered and detained and 673 of them have been repatriated to relevant countries through Thailand in accordance with the law, rules and regulations. The remaining 1,697 illegal migrants are ready for repatriation. The 2,370 illegal foreign migrants include citizens of China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Pakistan, India, Uganda, Ethiopia, Nepal, Thailand, Rwanda, Kenya, Kazakhstan, Cambodia and China (Taipei) and majority of them are from China.
