In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 9 June 2025 at 2:45 PM, a report stated that two men with shrapnel injuries were admitted to the Pwintphyu Township Public Hospital of Magway Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victims were identified as U Tin Myo (43 years old) and U Tin Hmay (55 years old), both residents of Htein Aei Village in Pwintphyu Township. When they were working in a field approximately two miles north of their village, they accidentally triggered an improvised explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group. As a result of the explosion, both men sustained shrapnel injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

While they were at a monastery in the village. As a result, both men died on the spot, it is reported.

These acts include the destruction of school textbooks and stationery, the intimidation and abduction of education staff and students, targeted killings and the planting of explosive devices to destroy educational buildings.

Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 6 June 2025 at 12:30 PM, a report stated that a threatening letter was found at the Sub-Basic Education High School in Kyauk Saung Village, Kamma Township of Magway Region. Upon further investigation, security personnel discovered that the letter had been attached to the entrance gate door of the school. The letter read “This is our final warning. We do not care even if you report about us understand? Teachers, headmasters, this is our last notice. Be careful. You vile traitors, we can strike you at any time. Prepare to die, you dogs”. The letter was under signed as “Battalion 4”. Security personnel removed the letter from the premises, it is reported.

It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

 In this regard, due to repeated terrorist attacks targeting education sector, 16 schools across Htantabin Township, Bago Region were temporarily closed on 6 June 2025. The temporary closure of schools was to ensure the safety of students and teachers following a series of destructive acts by terrorist groups. The affected schools include, the Basic Education High School in Zee Phyu Thaung Village, the Sub-Basic Education High School in Gway Kone Village, the Basic Education Middle School in Ohn Pin Village, the Basic Education Post-Primary School in Moe Ma Kha Village, the Basic Education Post-Primary School in Tha Yat Pin Village, the Basic Education Post-Primary School in Pyin Ma Pin Village, the Basic Education Post-Primary School in Tha Pyay Kone Village, the Basic Education Post-Primary School in Pawl Thar Village, the Basic Education Post-Primary School in Gway Pin Yoe Village, the Basic Education Post-Primary School in Nang Cho Village, the Basic Education Post-Primary School in Doe Seint Village, the Basic Education Post-Primary School in Sabar Kyi Village, the Basic Education Post-Primary School in Byat Ka Lay Village, the Basic Education Post-Primary School in Inn Yar Gyi Village, the Basic Education Post-Primary School in Padauk Kone Village and the Sub-Basic Education Middle School in Chaung Kan Village, it is reported.
Security personnel are currently implementing necessary measures to restore stability in the region and facilitate the reopening of schools, following repeated terrorist disruptions that have severely affected Myanmar’s education sector. These attacks on educational institutions have not only hindered student’s right to learning but also undermined the country’s progress in educational development, it is reported.

Terrorist groups have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities including abducting and extorting money from civil servant’s families and local civilians, as well as killings.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 6 June 2025 at 6:30 AM, U Kyi Shwe (65 years old), a resident of No.1 Ward in Myingyan Township of Mandalay Region and the father of Police Second Lieutenant Chan Myae Aung, who was serving as an apprentice officer at the office of the Aungmyaytharzan District Police Commander was abducted by a so-called PDF terrorist group. The incident occurred while U Kyi Shwe was travelling from Myingyan Town to Mandalay City aboard a Shwe Mingalar passenger bus. The abduction took place between Natogyi Town and Pyin Zi Village, where the terrorist group intercepted the vehicle and took him away, it is reported.
Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend, and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.

As a result, U Ko Nyein (aka) U Maung Nyein died on the spot, it is reported.

While they were shopping at the village market, it is reported.

As a result, U Aung Aung sustained gunshot wounds, it is reported.
