In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 10 March 2025 at 2:00 PM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Myaing Ka Lay Station Hospital in Hpa-an Township of Kayin Region. When security personnel conducted for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was Daw Hnin Si (40 years old) a resident of Kyar Inn Village in Hpa-an Township. The incident occurred she stepped on an explosive device planted by a terrorist faction while picking vegetables at the edge of a forest near her village. The device exploded, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

Their targets are civil servants and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that Ko Mon Htaine (25 years old) a resident of Ka Lot Thot Village, and Ko Zaw Htet (aka) Ka Lan (25 years old) a resident of Kawt Pi Htaw Village, were heading to a rubber plantation near Ka Lot Thot Village on a motorcycle. When they reached the roadside of a football field at the village entrance, four individuals from the New Mon State Party (Split) Group and so-called PDF terrorists, arriving by two motorcycles, opened fire on them. As a result, both victims died on the spot, it is reported.
Similarly, at 8:00 AM, U Than Zaw Oo (38 years old) Deputy Administrator at the Kyaukpadaung Township General Administration Department Office and resident of Aung Min Galar Ward in Kyaukpadaung Township of Mandalay Region, was at his agricultural farm, approximately two furlongs west of Myaing Thar Yar Village. He was accompanied by U Myo Ko Ko, a clerk at the office; U Maung Win, a guard at the office; U Sein Aung Min, a resident of Myaing Thar Yar Village; U Myo Min Htet, a resident of Thal Pin Tal Village and U San Win, a resident of Aung Min Galar Ward. While they were at the farm, six so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on U Than Zaw Oo. As a result, U Than Zaw Oo died on the spot. Additionally, the terrorists robbed two cars parked on the farm before fleeing, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killings and the assassinations of civil servant and innocent civilians in the aforementioned cases, it is reported.

The terrorists then threatened four daily wage workers, including U Kyaw Thura (35 years old) from Ward (2) in Sin Phyu Kyun Town, at gunpoint, forcing them to cut off the electricity supply to Salin and Sin Phyu Kyun towns. As a result, electricity distributing to urban wards and villages within Salin Township was disrupted.
Security personnel and relevant authorities are taking necessary measures as per security protocols, to identify and apprehend the terrorists who forced the power station staff at gunpoint to cut off the electricity distribution and also maintain efforts to restore normal electricity supply, it is reported.
