Terrorists committing inhumane acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 22 June 2025 at 1:15 PM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries was admitted to the Yekyi Township Public Hospital of Ayeyawady Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as Daw Ma Hmein (57 years old), a resident of Zin Yway San Village in Yekyi Township. The incident occurred when a group comprising AA terrorists and so-called PDF terrorists, fired heavy weapons into the victim’s village. One of the shells exploded within the village, causing her injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians have been injured or killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. As a result, U Aung Naing Oo (aka) U Aung died on the spot, it is reported.

At around 10:30 PM, the terrorists arrived at Mal Chaung Village and abducted another villager, Ko Than Zaw (under investigation). Afterward, the terrorists headed toward Phyu Kone Village, it is reported. 
Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.

It was found that the victim was returning from Myeik Town on a motorcycle with Ko Zin Min Soe (21 years old), a resident of Ta Kan Village in Myeik Township and arrived near Yan Pho Village in Tanintharyi Township, a so-called PDF terrorist group opened fire on them, causing his injuries. Fortunately, Ko Zin Min Soe was unharmed, it is reported.

Drugs seized in Mandalay: Drugs worth 920 million Kyats seized in Mandalay

The police seized drug traffickers who transported narcotics from Mandalay to Sagaing, confiscating heroin worth 920 million kyats, weighing over 24.35 kilogrammes, according to the Myanmar Police Force.

The seizure occurred at around 8 pm on 10 June near Tagaung Ward in Sagaing Township. A combined task force intercepted a Pajero heading to Kalay from Mandalay, driven by Kyaw Swar Lin, and discovered 6.93 kilogrammes of heroin powder.

The police seized drug traffickers who transported narcotics from Mandalay to Sagaing, confiscating heroin worth 920 million kyats, weighing over 24.35 kilogrammes, according to the Myanmar Police Force.

The seizure occurred at around 8 pm on 10 June near Tagaung Ward in Sagaing Township. A combined task force intercepted a Pajero heading to Kalay from Mandalay, driven by Kyaw Swar Lin, and discovered 6.93 kilogrammes of heroin powder.

Following the initial inspection, the combined taskforce arrested Kyaw Gyi (aka) Kyaw Min Aung), who delivered the drugs, at 9:30 pm on the same day at a bus station in Aungmyaythazan Township. They then searched the house of Than Than Moe in Mahaaungmyay Township at 9:00 am on 11 June, seizing 17.424 kilogrammes of heroin.

Later, at 5 pm the same day, police arrested Ma Aye Myint (aka Ma Lu), who transported the drugs. Acting on a tip-off, police arrested Daw Tin Oo (aka) Daw Ohn for transporting drugs from Mandalay to Kalay. They also apprehended Hein Latt, a wanted drug trafficker from Ohn Chaw Police Station, along with his wife, Aye Aye Aung (aka Ma Pi), at 5:00 pm on 14 June in Chanmyathazi Township.

The police are continuing their investigation to apprehend additional suspects. Legal action is being taken against the arrests under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
