Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 13 March 2025 at 7:25 AM, when a so-called PDF terrorist faction conducted attacks by firing heavy weapons and dropping bombs on Maung Ma Kan Village in Launglon Township of Tanintharyi Region. The heavy weapon shells and bombs exploded within the village. As a result of the explosions, Daw Zar Zar (33 years old) and Mg Nyi Nyi Zaw (two years old), both residents of the village, sustained shrapnel injuries and were transported to Dawei Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured or killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Tin Tun (63 years old), a resident of Kine Nge Village in Minhla Township. The incident occurred while the victim was walking to a farm near his village. When he reached the Kine Nge- Bant Pyin Village Commutable Dirt Road, he stepped on an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction, causing it to explode and resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that Venerable Bhaddanta Dhammasara (47 years old) and with 27 years as monkhood, the abbot of Shan Pitakat Taik (Shan Dhamma Hall) monastery in Zay Ahshae Ward and Sai Khin Maung Lat (36 years old), a resident of Zay Ahshae Ward, were at a monastery in Ohm Tine Village when four so-called PDF terrorists arriving by two motorcycles and opened on them. As a result, they died on the spot, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killings and the assassinations of monk and innocent civilian in the aforementioned case, it is reported.

So-called PDF Terrorist Faction Threaten Staff at Gunpoint to Cut Electricity in Salin and Sin Phyu Kyun Towns

Armed terrorists are carrying out acts of terrorism with the intent to disrupt the country’s administrative mechanisms, instill fear among the public and undermine social order. They target administrative buildings, religious structures, roads, bridges, power stations, electricity pylons and public residences through actions such as planting and detonating mines, shooting attacks, coercion, at gunpoint and other violent acts. 

Armed terrorists are carrying out acts of terrorism with the intent to disrupt the country’s administrative mechanisms, instill fear among the public and undermine social order. They target administrative buildings, religious structures, roads, bridges, power stations, electricity pylons and public residences through actions such as planting and detonating mines, shooting attacks, coercion, at gunpoint and other violent acts. 
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 7 March 2025 approximately 20 so-called PDF armed terrorists arrived at an electricity distribution station near Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda in Myauk Chaung Phyu Village, Salin Township of Magway Region. The terrorists then threatened four daily wage workers, including U Kyaw Thura (35 years old) from Ward (2) in Sin Phyu Kyun Town, at gunpoint, forcing them to cut off the electricity supply to Salin and Sin Phyu Kyun towns. As a result, electricity distributing to urban wards and villages within Salin Township was disrupted.
Security personnel and relevant authorities are taking necessary measures as per security protocols, to identify and apprehend the terrorists who forced the power station staff at gunpoint to cut off the electricity distribution and also maintain efforts to restore normal electricity supply, it is reported.

When they approached the village, an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction detonated on the roadside. As a result, both individuals died from the blast, it is reported.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Maung Maung Gyi (60 years old), a resident of the village, was heading to a cashew plantation yard near his village. When he reached the yard, he stepped on an explosive device planted by a faction of AA terrorists along with so-called PDF terrorists, causing it to explode. As a result, he sustained shrapnel injuries and was transported to Thabaung Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
