Terrorists committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
 Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 9 March 2025 at 6:00 AM, a report stated that when a so-called PDF terrorist faction conducted an attack by dropping bombs on Gyine Village in Hpa-an Township of Kayin State. The bombs exploded within the village. As a result of the explosions, U Naung Naung (40 years old), Ma Win Mar (22 years old), Mg Pyae Phyo Aung (four years old), Daw Khat Thar Min (43 years old) and Daw Kha Lok (52 years old), all residents of the village, sustained shrapnel injuries and were transported to Hpa-an District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
 Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured or killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
