In some townships across States and Regions, terrorists motivated by a radical ideology that views “anyone with differing views is an enemy” are conducting violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets are administrative officials who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to in still fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 15 February 2025 at 10:45 AM, a report stated that a man was shot dead and two others were injured by gunfire in No. 3 Ward, Pakokku Township of Magway Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Aung Khine Oo (40 years old), a resident of No.4 Ward in Pakokku Township, Mg Phoe Khwar (14 year old) and Mg Kyaw Moe (six years old), both resident of No.3 Ward, were assisting in the construction of a pavilion for a novitiation ceremony in No.3 Ward. At that time, five so-called PDF terrorists arriving by three motorcycles and opened fire on them. As a result, Mg Phoe Khwar died on the spot, while U Aung Khine Oo and Mg Kyaw Moe sustained gunshot injuries. The deceased and injured individuals were transported to Pakokku District Public Hospital for examination and medical treatment, it is reported. 
Similarly, at 4:15 PM, a report stated that a man was shot dead in Za Yit Myaung Village, Minhla Township of Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that Village Administrator U Than Htway (62 years old), a resident of the village, was at his house when three so-called PDF terrorists arriving by motorcycle and opened fire on him. As a result, he died on the spot, it is reported. 
Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killings and assassinations of administrative official and innocent civilians in the aforementioned cases, it is reported.
