Trump says Israel and Iran agree to 'total ceasefire' in Truth Social post

US President Donald Trump announced that Iran and Israel had agreed to a staggered ceasefire beginning Tuesday that would bring about an 'official end' to the conflict. "It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE," Trump wrote Monday evening on his Truth Social platform.  

Beijing issues weather warning for hottest days of year

Beijing residents sought shade and cooled off in canals on Monday as authorities issued the second-highest heat warning for the Chinese capital on one of its hottest days of the year so far. China has endured a string of extreme summers in recent years, with heat waves baking northern regions even as parts of the south have seen catastrophic rain and flooding.

Authorities in the city of 22 million people urged the public to take precautions, with temperatures expected to peak at around 38 degrees Celsius.

The Shenzhou-20 crew aboard China’s Tiangong space station have continued to carry out various tasks over the past week, proceeding with experiments in aerospace medicine, smart robots and microgravity and completing maintenance on multiple devices.

The three astronauts – Chen Dong, Chen Zhongrui, and Wang Jie – smoothly advanced aerospace medical experiments including research on the upper and lower visual fields. The crew completed the behavioral test using relevant equipment and software.

Yangon palm oil reference price dips this week

The wholesale reference rate of palm oil set for the Yangon market slightly declined to K6,080 per viss for the week ending 29 June from K6,110 per viss in the previous week ending 22 June, according to the Supervisory Committee on Edible Oil Import and Distribution.
The Supervisory Committee on Edible Oil Import and Distribution under the Ministry of Commerce has been closely observing the FOB prices in Malaysia and Indonesia, adding transport costs, tariffs and banking services to decide the wholesale market reference rate for edible oil weekly.
