Under Section 427(b) of the constitution, the council appointed 35 deputy ministers for respective ministries. Similarly, the council appointed and assigned duty to Dr. Htein Lin Oo as Deputy Minister for Legal Affairs and Deputy Attorney General under Order No.5/2025.

It has stated that the council appointed and assigned duty to U Than Soe as Chairman of the Union Election Commission along with 13 commissioners. The order was signed by Aung Lin Dwe, Executive Chief of the office of the National Defence and Security Council.
