FALSE reports stated that security forces burned houses in Bangbwe Village in Yinmabin Township, Sagaing Region, destroying 18 homes. Local officials say this is not true.
A security official explained that terrorists attacked villages and forced people into illegal activities like extortion. In some cases, terrorists burned houses in villages that did not follow their orders. They used heavy weapons to carry out these attacks.

France will upgrade one of its main air bases along its border with Germany to host Rafale fighter planes armed with nuclear cruise missiles, President Emmanuel Macron said on Tuesday. 

The Luxeuil-Saint-Sauveur base in eastern France hosted nuclear weapons until 2011, when the planes were relocated to a different site. 

 “The Luxeuil air base is about to be upgraded in an unprecedented way and regain its full role in France’s nuclear deterrent,” Macron said.

“By 2035, Luxeuil will be the first base to host the next version of the Rafale and its hypersonic nuclear missiles,” the president announced. He added that the garrison will double in size to nearly 2,000 military and civilian personnel to accommodate two Rafale squadrons. 

The government will spend €1.5 billion ($1.64 billion) to modernize the base.

The incident occurred when the victim stepped on an explosive device plated by a so-called CDF terrorist faction while repairing a water pipe near Kyaw Boke Monastery in the ward, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

Terrorists committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 18 March 2025 at 11:25 AM, a so-called PDF terrorist faction carried out an attack by dropping bombs on Twin Ma Village in Myaing Township of Magway Region. The bombs exploded within the village, resulting in shrapnel injuires to two residents: U Tin Maung (90 years old) and Daw Paw (83 years old). The injured individuals are currently receiving medical treatment in the village, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured or killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Members of the United Nations Security Council discussed the airstrikes that Israel carried out in Gaza on Tuesday. Many called for the ceasefire to be reestablished. However, the United States pushed back on the idea.

Health authorities in Gaza say the attacks killed at least 404 people. The Palestinian Permanent Observer to the UN, Riyad Mansour, said, "Palestinians are being killed indiscriminately, are being denied humanitarian aid indiscriminately, are being maimed and detained indiscriminately."

Envoys from the UK, France and Russia joined Mansour in urging an immediate end to the fighting.

But the acting US Ambassador to the UN, Dorothy Shea, blamed the attacks on Hamas. She said, "It is well known that Hamas continues to use civilian infrastructure as launching pads, and the United States condemns this practice, as should others."

Israel's envoy said the attack was necessary because the militants have refused to release Israeli hostages.

Basem Naim, a member of the Hamas political bureau, told NHK his group will not give in. He said: "If Israel and the US believe that putting pressure on Hamas will lead to the release of the hostages, that's an illusion. We do not want to fight. But if it is necessary, we will defend ourselves by all means."

Naim added that the hostages will be released only when Israeli forces make a complete withdrawal from Gaza and when negotiators join talks on efforts to rebuild.

When they reached the Pauk Town-Pauk Chaung Village dirt road, they stepped on an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction. The device exploded, causing shrapnel injuries to both. They were transported to Pauk Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.

Security personnel arrived there for further investigation and found a "warning notice" pasted to the door of staff housing within the school compound, along with a 7.62 x 39 bullet. The notice read “To U Ye Win Hlaing, a teacher at the Basic Education Middle School in Nyar Taw Village, Taungdwingyi Township and Daw Ya Mon Phyu, a teacher at Pa Yat Kyawl Basic Education High School are warned with a bullet by the Magway Guerrilla Force, PDF "Bo Thar Ti," the guerrilla leader”. The security personnel removed both the letter and the bullet.
Security personnel are taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend as per security procedures and take legal action against those terrorists doing such terrorist acts with the intent to disrupt school openings as well as to intimidate students, teachers and parents, it is reported.

When they approached the farm, an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction detonated, resulting in their injuries. Unfortunately, U Myo Zay Yar succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical treatment, it is reported.
 It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
