This attack resulted in the deaths of three residents from Wae Gyi (South) Village: Maung Zwe Pyae (7 years old), Daw Khin Aye Su (56 years old), and Daw Thidar Oo (35 years old), all due to bomb shrapnel injuries.

Additionally, 25 multiple aged people sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel and gunshots. Those are, Ko Thaw Dar Oo (22), Daw Khin Shwe (70), U San Win (56), Maung Myo Min Sett (24), Maung Nyan Lin Htet (22), Maung Pyae Sone (18), U Tin Win Htun (44), U Myo Min Tun (37), Maung Kaung Khant Thaw (8), Daw Zapal (43), Maung Khant (aka) Khant Nyar (17), Maung Phone Khant Thaw (7 months), Maung Kan Htoo Wai (8 months), Maung Su Myat Thu (12), Ma Su Myat Mon (10), Ma Thwe Thwe Soe (8), Ma Shwe Zin Oo (26), Ma Twel Tar Oo (20), Daw War War Myint (49), Daw Su Nwe Zin (38), Daw Zar (34), and Daw Cho (60) from Wae Gyi (South) Village;  U Win Nyunt (56) and Daw Khin Htay (73) from Wae Gyi (North) Village;  U Naing Tun (46) from Wae Daung  Village;

The deceased and injured were transported to Phyu Township People’s Hospital, where they are receiving necessary medical treatment.

Security forces are increasing necessary operations in cooperation with responsible citizens who wish to protect the lives and property of the public. This is aimed at identifying, arresting, and taking action against the terrorists who carried out these attacks on a non-military target village inhabited by innocent civilians, and to restore peace and stability in the area.

On June 26, at 7:30 AM, a combined team including members of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force intercepted a MITSUBISHI PAJERO driven by Nay Lin Aung (aka Nay Lin) near Kywetahtson Village, Thazi Township, Mandalay Region. The vehicle was traveling from Saikkhong Village, Hsihseng Township, Southern Shan State, to Tatkone Township.

The Myanmar Police Force has reported a significant drug bust in Thazi Township, Mandalay Region, seizing narcotics valued at over 900 million Kyats.

The terrorists arriving by three motorcycles and covered the victims’ faces with cloths before taking them toward Ywar Thit Kone Village. Then, on 30 June 2025 at 9:00 AM, the terrorists threatened them and then released. However, the terrorists forcibly took three mobile phones from them.
