When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Maung Kyaing (65 years old), a resident of Lat Wal Village in Natogyi Township. The incidents occurred when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the victim’s village. One of the shells exploded within the village, causing injuries to the victim, it is reported.
 Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured or killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.

Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 22 March 2025 at 10:20 AM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Palauk Station Hospital in Palaw Township of Tanintharyi Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was Daw San Yi (56 years old), a resident of Sin Htoe Gyi Village in Palaw Township. The incident occurred when she was on her way to a forest southeast of her village. Upon reaching the outskirts of her village, she stepped on an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction. The device exploded, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

Extremist terrorists are deliberately targeting and disrupting the nation's transportation networks by using explosive devices to destroy public roads, railways, government offices and residential buildings. Their actions include planting mines and conducting remote-controlled explosions with the aim of severing communication routes and causing widespread instability.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, 22 March 2025 at around 12:00 PM, a report stated that a terrorist faction blew up Bridge No. (1/4) Chaung Hnit Pauk Village in Tanintharyi Township, Tanintharyi Region. The bridge, located between mileposts 3/2 and 3/3 on the Hton Kha-Thae Phyu-Maw Taung road, was severely damaged. When security personnel conducted a further investigation, they discovered that the explosion caused the collapse of the third span of the 240 foot long, 28 foot wide reinforced concrete bridge, including its railings and flooring. As a result, the bridge is now impassable for vehicles, it is reported.
Authorities are currently working to expedite the repair of the bridge damaged in the aforementioned incident. Meanwhile, security personnel are continuing efforts to apprehend the terrorists responsible for the explosion, following necessary security protocols, it is reported.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that Mg Arkar Do Lay (16 years old), Ma Thaw Mi Mi Zin (23 years old), Daw Myint Mar Tun (38 years old) and Daw Khin Nyein Chan (38 years old), all residents of Lat Pan Village in Sagaing Region, were injured while travelling on a two-wheel tractor to Kyat Htauk Village. When they arrived at Min Kon Pass (locally known by this name), a so-called PDF terrorist faction opened fire on them, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killings and the assassinations of innocent civilians in the aforementioned case, it is reported.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims were Daw Khin Myo Oo (42 years old) and her son, Mg Min Khant Ko (15 years old), both residents of Htan Myint Village in Sagaing Township of Sagaing Region. The incident occurred when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the victims’ village. The shells exploded within the village, causing their injuries, it is reported.

Similarly, at 5:45 PM, a report stated that a novice with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into Min Kon Village in Sagaing Township. The shells exploded within the village and as a result, a novice named Pyin Nyar Thiri (aka) Moe Thet Naing (11 years old), with four years in monkhood at Min Kon Mahar San Di Mar Yar Ma Monastery in the village, sustained shrapnel injuries, it is reported.

When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Than Htike Win (39 years old), a resident of Nyaung Pin Village in Pakokku Township of Magway Region. The incident occurred while the victim was riding his motorcycle to a farm on the outskirts of his village. When he reached an area approximately two furlongs southeast of the village, an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction detonated, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
 It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

Investigative sources have told NHK that a Japanese man found at a scam center in Myanmar will be extradited in early April. They suspect the 36-year-old of stealing money from a ramen shop in Sapporo, Hokkaido.

Police say they have an arrest warrant for the man, adding that they also plan to ask him about his time at the scam center.

Multiple sources say he was engaged in a Chinese fraud operation in Myanmar. Authorities found him in late February, and he has since been transferred to Thailand.

The European Commission on Wednesday introduced a comprehensive plan to enhance the European Union’s (EU) defense capabilities, aiming to bolster military readiness and reduce reliance on non-EU allies amid uncertainty over future U.S. support for NATO.
“The security architecture that we relied on can no longer be taken for granted. Europe is ready to step up. We must invest in defense, strengthen our capabilities, and take a proactive approach to security,” Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said in a statement.
At the core of the plan is the White Paper for European Defence – Readiness 2030, and a defense package providing financial levers to EU member states for boosting investment in defense capabilities. These are part of the ReArm Europe Plan/Readiness 2030, the Commission said.
The white paper outlines key priorities, including addressing critical defense gaps identified by EU member states and strengthening Europe’s defense industry through increased joint procurement efforts.

It also emphasizes the need to increase military support for Ukraine and expand the EU-wide defense market by streamlining regulations to improve efficiency and cooperation. Currently, EU nations operate a wide array of different weapons systems, limiting interoperability and efficiency.
The new blueprint was unveiled ahead of a summit of EU government leaders, where European defense remains a top agenda topic.

President Trump on Friday announced that the U.S. Air Force is moving ahead with a sixth-generation fighter jet known as the F-47, with Boeing being awarded the contract to manufacture the new aircraft.

"At my direction, the United States Air Force is moving forward with the world's first sixth-generation fighter jet," the president said alongside Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth in an Oval Office announcement. "Nothing in the world comes even close to it. And it will be known as the F-47."

Boeing and Lockheed Martin had been in competition to build the Next Generation Air Dominance fighter, as the U.S. looks to stay ahead of China when it comes to air defense technology.

The president said the F-47 is "the most advanced, most capable, most lethal aircraft ever built," calling it "virtually unseeable" with "unprecedented power" and excellent maneuverability. Mr. Trump said a "an experimental version of the plane has secretly been flying for almost five years, and we're confident that it massively overpowers the capabilities of any other nation."

"America's enemies will never see it coming, hopefully we won't have to use it for that purpose, but you have to have it," Mr. Trump said. "And if it ever happens, they won't know what the hell hit them." 

The president said a new F-47 fleet will be built while he's in office. He told reporters he can't say how much the jets cost "because it would give away to some of the technology."
