In some townships across States and Regions, terrorists motivated by a radical ideology that views “anyone with differing views is an enemy” are conducting violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets are innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.

Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 6 July 2025 at 9:30 AM, a report stated that a vehicle was attacked by a so-called PDF terrorist group near Lat Khot Pin Village in Minhla Township of Magway Region. When security personnel arrived at the scene for further investigation, they found a Vigo Double Cab (License Plate No. YGN-44/ 5S-XXXX) driven by U Hein Min Phyo (36 years old), accompanied by U Nyan Phyo Lin (45 years old), a District officer from the Thayat District Road Department and Daw Phyo Sandar Myo (44 years old), an accountant level-3. The vehicle was travelling from Thayat Town to Magway Town along the Thayat - Minhla - Magway road. When the vehicle arrived at an area between Lat Khot Pin Village and Myauk Myar Kone Village, a so-called PDF terrorist group opened fire on the vehicle. As a result, U Hein Min Phyo sustained gunshot wounds and was transported to Lin Kal Station Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries, it is reported.

Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the aforementioned case, it is reported.

07 July 2025 Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality. Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 6 July 2025 at 6:15 AM, a combined group of pro-terrorism KNU members, along with so-called PDF terrorists, fired heavy weapons on Za Yat Kyun Village in Thaton Township of Mon State. One of the shells struck a 22-wheeled ISUZU truck (License Plate No. MDY-15/6L-XXXX), loaded with fabrics rolls, which was parked between milepost 134/6 and 134/7 on the Yangon-Mawlamyine Road. The truck was completely destroyed by fire, but no casualties were reported.  In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.

 Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 6 July 2025 at 6:20 AM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to the Township Public Hospital in Phyu Township of Bago Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as U Soe Kyaw Moe (45 years old), a resident of Min Lan Ku (Myanmar) Village in Phyu Township. The incident occurred while he was travelling by a buffalo cart to Kyauk Oah Kyi Village. When he reached an area along the Bago mountain range, an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, exploded nearby. The device exploded, causing his injuries, it is reported.

 It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

Terrorist groups have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities-including abducting and extorting money from local civilians, as well as killings.

Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 6 July 2025 at 6:30 PM, approximately 15 so-called PDF terrorists using a car and five motorcycles arrived at Ah-Shae Kone Village in Yenangyaung Township of Magway Region. They abducted two villager: U Aung Thein Naing (54 years old) and Daw Aye Thin (54 years old). The terrorists then took them along the Ah-Shae Kone – Sone Kone Village Commutable dirt road toward Sone Kone Village in Natmauk Township, it is reported.

Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.

On Friday, Turkiye’s six-month command of the task group has been transferred to Italy. The ceremony took place at the Aksaz Naval Base in Marmaris, Muğla. The Turkish Naval Forces Command has exercised command of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Standing Maritime Group 2 since 3 December 2024. Turkiye has taken on five times in this role before. The command was handed over from Canada six months ago and has now transferred to Italy.

When security personnel arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, they discovered that the victims were identified as Ma Thin Zar Maw (14 years old) and Ma Thet Mon Chit (9 years old) both residents of Chaung Khwa Village in Nyaung-U Township. The incident occurred while the victims were near a banyan tree approximately 300 yards east of their village, an improvised explosive device (IED), planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, exploded nearby, causing their injuries, it is reported.

Armed terrorist groups are obstructing commercial and passenger vehicles transporting goods in the region, committing violent acts such as abducting and killing travelers, extorting money, setting vehicles on fire, destroying them and forcibly taking goods.

Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 3 July 2025 at around 5:00 AM, the following six-wheeled cargo trucks departed from Myeik Town to Tanintharyi Town, carrying sacks of rice and other food supplies: A six-wheeled Canter truck (License Plate No. 8F/XXXX), driven by U Zaw Moe (35 years old) from Pa Thaung Village in Myeik Township of Tanintharyi Region, accompanied by Ko Kyaw Lin Htut (27 years) from Ah-Lal Kyun Ward in Myeik Town; A six-wheeled Canter truck (License Plate No. 4F/XXXX), driven by U Zaw Lat (45 years old), accompanied by U Thurain Soe (35 years), both from Kan Khaung Ward; A six-wheeled DYNA truck (License Plate No. N/XXXX), driven by Ko Soe Htet Aung (28 years old) from Shan Chaung Village, accompanied by Ko Myo Aye (22 years old) from Chaung Gyi Ward in Tanintharyi Township. When the vehicles reached the vicinity of Yan Pho Village in Tanintharyi Township, approximately 13 so-called PDF terrorists forced the trucks to stop and forcibly took 204 rice sacks and food supplies before releasing both the individuals and vehicles, it is reported.

It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

The graduation parades for the People’s Military Service Training 12 took place yesterday morning at various training depots across the country, organized by relevant military commands. The ceremonies followed the training graduation schedule, with the graduates taking an oath while holding the national flag.
Officials awarded top-performing trainees with distinctions in categories such as Best Trainee, Best Training, Code of Conduct, Best Marksmanship, Best Mine Handling, and so on.
The chief ministers from regions and states, commanders, and officials, attended the events and delivered congratulatory speeches to graduates. They also cordially greeted the graduates.

The incident occurred when a combined group of pro-terrorism KNU members, along with so-called PDF terrorists fired heavy weapons on the victim’s village. One of the shells exploded within the village, causing his injuries, it is reported.
