Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 July 2025 at 11:00 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred in Bo Yone Su Village, Oakpho Township of Bago Region. During a follow-up investigation, the victim was identified as Ma Khine Khine Wai (25 years old), a resident of the village. While she was clearing grass in her yard with a hoe, she accidently struck an unexploded rocket shell, reportedly fired by a so-called PDF terrorist group, led to explode the shell. As a result, she sustained shrapnel injuries and was transported to Oakpho Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported. 

It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

When they reached an area near Yae Kyi Oo Village in Kambalu Township, a so-called PDF terrorist group forcibly stopped the vehicle and abducted all individuals, along with the vehicle, before leaving for Yae Shin Village. On 8 July 2025 at 4:00 PM, the terrorists brought the victims back near Gway Kone Village and released them. However, the terrorists forcibly took their mobile phones and vehicle, it is reported. 

Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.

These individuals committed illegal online gambling, online fraud, and other criminal acts in the Myawaddy Township of Kayin State, specifically in Shwe Kokko, Mae Htaw Thale (KK Park), and Kyauk Khat areas. From January 30, 2025, to July 7, 2025, a total of 9,198 foreign nationals who illegally entered Myanmar have been identified, investigated, and detained.

Of these, 8,987 have been systematically deported and transferred to their respective countries via Thailand, in accordance with legal procedures. The remaining 211 foreign nationals are ready for transfer to their countries and are currently being held in good custody. In this regard, Major General Aung Kyaw Kyaw, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Secretary of the Central Committee for Supervising the Swift Action and Deportation of Foreigners who Illegally Entered Myanmar in accordance with the Law, along with other officials, arrived in Myawaddy in the morning on July 7.

They were joined by Mr. Chen Wen Feng, Deputy Director-General of the Criminal Investigation Department, Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China, and other officials, as well as Pol. Col. Chinakorn Atsawaphum from the Tak Province Immigration Department of Thailand, and other officials.

The joint team from the three countries visited and observed the conditions of the detained foreign nationals who had illegally entered the Myawaddy-Shwe Kokko, Mae Htaw Thale (KK Park), and Kyauk Khat areas, as well as the process of collecting their personal information and records.

Subsequently, representatives from the two countries met in the meeting room at the Myanmar-Thailand No. 2 Friendship Bridge in Myawaddy. They held a coordination meeting to discuss the swift transfer of the detained foreign nationals to their respective countries.

They also discussed matters concerning the joint cooperation to eliminate Telecom Fraud in the Myawaddy region and to facilitate the smooth transfer of individuals involved in Telecom Fraud to their respective countries.

The State Government is actively investigating and taking effective action against illegal online fraud operations. It is also reported that the government will continue to cooperate with international organizations, including neighboring countries, to investigate and take action to prevent and combat illegal online gambling and financial fraud in Myanmar's border areas.

The vehicle was travelling from Thayat Town to Magway Town along the Thayat - Minhla - Magway road. When the vehicle arrived at an area between Lat Khot Pin Village and Myauk Myar Kone Village, a so-called PDF terrorist group opened fire on the vehicle. As a result, U Hein Min Phyo sustained gunshot wounds and was transported to Lin Kal Station Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries, it is reported.
