Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 21 July 2025 at 10:15 AM, a combined group of pro-terrorism KNU members, along with so-called PDF terrorists fired heavy weapons into Kyon Doe Town in Kawkareik Township of Kayin State. One of the shells struck the house of U Min Thein Htay (32 years old), a resident of No. 2 Ward in Kyon Doe Town. As a result, the roof was damaged. Fortunately, no one was injured, it is reported.

It has been reported that the security pesonnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

One of the improvised rocket shells exploded on the road in front of the Basic Education High School in the town. As a result, three men and two women who were passing by at the time sustained shrapnel injuries, it is reported.

When security personnel arrived at the scene for further investigation, they found that U Aung Kyaw Hein (52 years old), a resident of the ward, was at his house at the time of the incident. Six so-called PDF terrorists arriving by three motorcycles, had thrown an improvised explosive device into his house and then fled. The device exploded in front of the house. As a result of the blast, U Aung Kyaw Hein died on the spot, it is reported.

The terrorists took him to the village cemetery, located two furlongs west of the village, and gunned him down. As a result, U Aye Min died on the spot, it is reported.

The suspects Naing Min Tun @ Bo Bo, Zwe Khant Naing @ Zwe Khant, and San Min Nyein @ Pauk Tu confessed to planning the crime due to financial problems. They waited for the victim near his firewood shelter on July 16, attacked him with wooden sticks, and stole his phone and 72,000 kyats.
