Mobile clinic brings relief to displaced Sittway residents

THE Myanmar Red Cross Society has opened a mobile clinic and is providing free primary healthcare to displaced households in Sittway, Rakhine State, according to the MRCS headquarters.
The mobile clinic for displaced households, jointly opened by the Myanmar Red Cross Society and the Norwegian Red Cross and operated in collaboration with local Red Cross volunteers, staff, and the community, has provided free primary healthcare to 1,503 displaced patients from 1 January to 22 February 2025.

Terrorists commit mine blast on Yangon-Mandalay railway

TERRORISTS blew up the railway section at milepost 107/10-9 between Kyauktaga and Peinzalok railway stations on the Yangon-Mandalay railway in Kyauktaga Township, Bago Region, at 10 pm on 25 February, causing the railway section between Kyauktaga and Peinzaloke temporarily closed.
The regional officials and security forces members proceeded to the site promptly for inspection, and the MR staff replaced two destroyed rail tracks to reopen the railway section as quickly as possible.

150 more illegal foreign migrants to Myanmar detained

The government has cracked down on criminal activities in border areas including online gambling and scams effectively and, today, detained 150 more illegal migrants who entered Shwe Kokko and KK Park - Myawady through illegal routes.

Combined teams of relevant departments are collecting their personal information and documents within a day in order to repatriate them to relevant countries as soon as possible.

200 more foreign nationals illegally entering Myanmar detained

The government has been actively collaborating with international partners to effectively crack down on illegal activities, including online gambling, online scams, and other criminal offenses.

Particularly, foreign nationals who have illegally entered and resided in border areas, engaging in online gambling and online scam operations, are being investigated, identified, and systematically deported to their respective countries in accordance with legal procedures.
