In some townships across States and Regions, terrorists motivated by a radical ideology that views “anyone with differing views is an enemy” are conducting violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets are administrative officials who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 25 May 2025 at 7:30 PM, a report stated that a man was shot dead in Aye Hla Yoe Village, Ngazun Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the scene for further investigation, they discovered that the victim was identified as U Hoke Sein (55 years old), 100-household elder and resident of the village. The incident occurred while he was at his house, approximately 10 so-called PDF terrorists arriving by a light truck and opened fire on him. As a result, U Hoke Sein died on the spot, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killing of administrative official in the aforementioned case, it is reported.

At least 33 Palestinians, including 18 children and six women, were killed and dozens of others injured in an Israeli airstrike early Monday morning targeting the Fahmi Al-Jarjawi school sheltering displaced families, according to Gaza’s Civil Defence. 

Mahmoud Basal, a civil defense spokesperson, told Xinhua that searching operations, still underway for missing persons under the rubble, were hampered by the scale of the devastation. 

Eyewitnesses described the scene as “catastrophic.” “The explosion was like an earthquake. Minutes later, we saw flames engulfing the tents and charred bodies inside them,” Mahmoud Suleiman, a resident of the area, told Xinhua.

In a statement, the Israeli army confirmed the targeting of the school, claiming that it was being used as a “command and control compound” by Hamas and Islamic Jihad to plan “terrorist attacks.” The army added that it had employed precision-guided munitions and aerial reconnaissance to minimize civilian casualties. 

The bombing coincided with the Israeli army issuing urgent evacuation orders for residents of the Bani Suheila, Abasan, and Al-Qarara areas of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, in preparation for an “unprecedented” attack.

The evacuation came after three rockets were fired from southern Gaza toward Israel, one of which was intercepted. Since Israel resumed its military campaign on March 18, at least 3,822 Palestinians have been killed and 10,925 injured, bringing the overall death toll in Gaza since the war began in October 2023 to 53,977, with a total of 122,966 people injured, according to health authorities in Gaza on Monday.

A North Korean media outlet says that the head of the country's secret police has departed for Russia to attend an international conference.

The ruling party newspaper Rodong Sinmun reported in Tuesday's edition that state security minister Ri Chang Dae left the capital of Pyongyang on Monday.

South Korean media outlets have reported that Ri is expected to hold talks with Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu while he is in Russia for the gathering.

They have also reported that he may engage in discussions about the North Korean troops that have been deployed in Russia. The outlets said topics of conversation could include future activities for the North's troops, the repatriation of the bodies of the country's fallen soldiers and the issue of soldiers who have been taken prisoner.

Rodong Sinmun also reported that Russia's deputy minister of internal affairs arrived in Pyongyang on Monday. The exchange of high-ranking officials between North Korea and Russia comes ahead of the first anniversary next month of the conclusion of the comprehensive strategic partnership treaty between the two countries.

Upon reaching their village, a so-called PDF terrorist group appeared and opened fire on them. As a result, Daw Mya Khine died on the spot, while U Tin Soe sustained gunshot wounds. He was transported to Paukkhaung Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the aforementioned case, it is reported.

When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, they discovered that the victim was identified as U Win Myint (55 years old), a resident of No.2 Ward in Shwebo Town. The incident occurred while he was feeding cows behind his house, when a so-called PDF terrorist group arrived and opened fire on him, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the aforementioned case, it is reported.

Terrorists committing inhumane acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 25 May 2025 at 7:50 AM, a terrorist group fired improvised rockets into No.2 Ward in Kyon Doe Town, Kawkareik Township of Kayin State. The shells exploded near a rice warehouse in the ward. As a result, U San Kyi Oo (45 years old), a deputy staff officer from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, along with employees Ko Sa Lin Lin (23 years old), U Soe Moe Lwin (33 years old) and U Maung Maung (35 years old), who were working at the site at the time, sustained shrapnel injuries and were transported to Kyon Doe Station Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
 Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent people have been injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.

Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 25 May 2025 at 5:05 PM, a report stated that a child with shrapnel injuries was admitted to the Dawei Township Public Hospital of Tanintharyi Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, they discovered that the victim was identified as Mg Aung Min Htway (10 years old) and resident of Kan Pauk Village in Yebyu Township. The incident occurred when he stepped on an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group while collecting mushrooms in a forest approximately one and a half miles northwest of his village. The device exploded, causing his injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, they discovered that U Nyein Chan (aka) Ko Htway (47 years old), a resident of No. 2 Myoma Ward in Nyaunglebin Town, was injured whiel working near a stream close to Moke Kha Mu Village. He accidentally stepped on an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, which then exploded and causing his injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.

Israeli troops fired what they say were "warning shots" at a group of diplomats in the city of Jenin in the West Bank on Wednesday. The Israeli Defense Forces claimed the group had entered a restricted area without authorization. No injuries were reported.

Palestinian news agency WAFA said the delegation included diplomats from at least 20 countries, including Japan. They were visiting the city to assess the situation.

The EU's foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, expressed her outrage. She said, "We definitely call on Israel to investigate this incident, and also hold these accountable, who are responsible for this, and any threats on diplomats' lives are unacceptable."

Israeli troops have been conducting raids in Jenin in an effort to root out militants. The fighting has forced many residents to flee their homes.

Two Israeli embassy staff members a man and a woman were shot and killed near a Jewish museum in the US capital Washington on Wednesday evening.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced the deaths in a social media post. Police said in a news conference that a 30- ear-old male suspect has been taken into custody.
