Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 31 May 2025 at 3:00 PM, a report stated that two men with shrapnel injuries were admitted to the Dawei Township Public Hospital of Tanintharyi Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, they identified the victims as U Myint Oo (66 years old) and U Pha Su (78 years old), both residents of Ga Gyi Ward in Launglon Town. The incident occurred when a so-called PDF terrorist group fired heavy weapons into the victim’s ward, causing their injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent people have been injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
